- Little Voice Speak Big Truths—A Special Showcase
A mother’s testimony, two little voices reading Bible verses, and the simple joy of Discover4Yourself (D4Y). There is a young lady—mother of three—whom Trim Crown and Mophead have had the privilege of knowing through a shared class. Most recently, she purchased one of the Discover4Yourself (D4Y) books for her son. Her excitement and love for the D4Y series shimmied through the chat— certain as the sun, true as it can be . So Mophead asked if she might be willing to leave a testimony, since it’s always on our hearts to encourage young parents to guide their little ones in the ways of the Lord through His Word—and, with a hint of bias, to equip them through our D4Y workshop. Mama went above and beyond. The very next day, she created two amazing videos because she felt so compelled to encourage parents to teach their children the Bible. ♥️♥️♥️ And then Mophead quietly hung her head in shame as she heard the four‑year‑old confidently sputtering out Bible verses in Mandarin—verses that swept right past the tips of the mop. With great delight, we present to you this special showcase of Kids Reading Bible — where Little Voices Speak Big truths . My kid loves the book. The questions are super good—they help him think deeply and reflect on the Word by himself! He’s in P2 this year, and I ask him to do Bible study every afternoon. He has benefited from it so much!” - Qu Lingqun, blessed mother of three boys (7, 4, and 5 months) (Photos and video lovingly shared by Qu Lingqun) 💌 An Invitation to Parents, Grandparents and every Heart Serving in Children’s Ministry It’s never too early—and never too late—to discover and be equipped to use Precept’s Discover4Yourself (D4Y) books. These resources help nurture young Bible explorers to be grounded in God’s Word from youth. We’re hosting a D4Y Workshop on 📅 Monday, 2 March 2026 🕘 9:00am to 4:30pm 👩🏻🏫 Mimi Voo and Lena Goh Taking just one day of leave to attend this workshop is a worthy investment in a child’s spiritual foundation. Years from now, you’ll give thanks to God that you did.
- Young Adults Community—Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is Precept Study... Really? Participants often say, “ It’s hard to explain—you have to experience its richness and depth yourself .” Even we concede that no matter how carefully we try to map it online, words and imagery can never fully capture the actual learning experience . At its core, Precept Study employs inductive Bible study —always rooted in Scripture itself— across every level of study: In‑depth, Devotional, and Topical . Observation — let Scripture speak for itself Interpretation — understand what it means in context Application — live out Scripture’s timeless truth In other words: Scripture leads you to God. Precept leads you through Scripture . What makes Precept unique in Bible Study? “ Other Bible studies prescribe; Precept describes ,” one participant quipped. We don’t claim to be the best—every Bible study seeks to root believers in God’s Word and help them live it out. What makes Precept different is our focus on equipping people with a lifelong skill: not just to read, but to love the Word of God through the inductive study method. Precept is always Scripture‑based—whether in devotional or topical studies—and we hold fast to Scripture alone, the living Word that convicts hearts. Why do I have to study the Bible? The real question is: “How much do you want to know God—the One who has already revealed what you need to know about Him through His Word?” Knowledge in the veracity of His Word strengthens faith and enlarges your estimation of the persons of God. Often, the journey begins with a sense of “have to” before it blossoms into a “want to.” And here’s the honest truth: it takes diligence on your part. The richness of God’s Word isn’t unlocked by shortcuts—it is uncovered through steady, intentional study, illuminated and empowered by the Holy Spirit. What is a Precept Community? Once known simply as a “study group” or “discussion group,” it is now called a Precept Community—a regular gathering (virtual for YA classes) with no denominational barriers and not limited to “strictly believers.” We welcome unbelievers and seekers too, so invite your friends ! It’s a time of fellowship rooted in Scripture —our basis for discussions and sometimes even lively debates. It’s about sharing life, encouraging one another, and growing in faith side by side. One participant put it this way: “The community is important to spur one another on—we can’t do this alone.” Another added, “I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue with in‑depth study after devotionals, but because I’ve come to love our community, I stayed.” The beauty of a Precept Community is its diversity —different walks of life, different denominations, all bringing rich perspectives that keep iron sharp. It’s not a replacement for the church, but an extension where we seek the knowledge of God’s truth together—running the race together! What’s the difference between ‘YA’ and the regular classes? We all use the same materials, but YA groups are age‑specific (20s–49, uniquely Precept) so Young Adults can grow and encourage one another in their season of life. More than that, YA is designed for your needs—refining the rhythm and daily time with God to make it accessible while balancing life and seeking Him. YA, in its essence, is community: Scripture + life, peers + faith—building one another up in Christ while navigating the challenges of this season. I cannot tell which class I should sign up for… The Lord knows where you are and the season of life you’re in. Sometimes less is more, and consistency is key . Don’t get stuck thinking, “I only want to study this book of the Bible” or “this level of study.” The Word of God is living and active. Commit a day and time—and trust God to handle the rest . You can also reach out to us at ya@precept.org.sg or Live Chat on the website—we’d be glad to help. Can I still join a class that’s already started? Absolutely! We believe you can join whenever— it’s God’s perfect timing for you . Just note that the study material is still payable no matter which stage of the study you come in. If I have registered for a study, do I need to still sign-up for subsequent study? No. Near the end of each study, the leader will gather names of those continuing. A Precept Snuffleuphagus will help register you for the next study. If you’d like to switch classes, you can either sign up yourself or email us at ya@precept.org.sg to transfer your registration to another class. What does the cost include? The cost listed for each study covers the study material (as shown in our online store). For YA classes, there are no postal charges. In other words, the class fee is simply the cost of the material itself. Can I have digital materials? I’m willing to pay… Due to our U.S. publisher’s rights, we are unable to provide digital copies of the study material or books. What if I can’t attend every session? While it’s always beneficial to attend every session, we understand that last‑minute travels, work calls, or unforeseen circumstances can arise. Though missing sessions isn’t encouraged, you won’t be struck off for it. What matters most is keeping up your daily time with God. What if I don’t finish my homework? We highly encourage you to still show up for the meetings, because community discussions are vital for momentum and peer learning. Yes, you may feel a little lost at times during the discussion, but remember—we’re here to seek God together. Stay connected with the community, and let that weekly time be your commitment to Him, not just to Precept. Trust us: miss one, miss two, and before you know it, you’ve slipped off the bandwagon. We cannot emphasize enough—consistency is key. Can I have the Zoom Recording if I miss a session? We do not record the sessions, so no recordings will be available if you miss one. This is to honor the privacy of participants and the authenticity of their sharing. More Questions? We are ever ready to answer any questions or uncertainties. You can either email us at ya@precept.org.sg , or simply, click the Live Chat on our website. We will be there to assist!
