About Kings & Prophets (KP) Study Series 2026

(Selected Titles)

It should be called the Study of Kings & Prophets — because in this series we’re only diving into 1 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Kings, and 2 Chronicles (with a cameo from Zephaniah at the end).

Come meet the kings of Israel’s story: from the united kingdom to the divided kingdom to no kingdom; from the wisest and wealthiest to the most vile and atrocious. Come trace the truth revealed in what happened when they “did right” or “did evil” in the sight of the Lord.

So put on your “tenacity” hat and walk with us through the lives of Israel’s (and Judah’s) kings in depth. Let the Holy Spirit uncover the marvellous truth of God’s Word—and WHO He is. Scripture holds nothing back in telling His‑story about and with His people—even those kings who “did right in the sight of the Lord.”

But what does all of this mean for us today? How does Israel’s history still point us to Jesus and humanity’s desperate need for a Saviour? And ultimately, what does it really mean to “do right in the sight of the Lord”?

How will this impact your daily walk with God?
