Leaders' Gathering 2026

You're Invited!

It’s time once again for our Leaders’ Gathering. This year, we’re gliding into a sizzling topic that is said to be one of the “top three most persistent debates” amongst biblical scholars and theologians even today.

Dr Tjin Swee Chuan will walk us through the complexity of each theological system and how these frameworks shape the way we interpret the Bible. Central to this are the ripple effects of the ‘isms’ on the ‘‑logy’ — lofty terms that may be unfamiliar to some —— from ecclesiology to eschatology, from how one understands the covenants to one’s identity of the Church. It is beneficial for Precept leaders to be grounded in a clear understanding of both systems.  This equips us to facilitate our classes with confidence, discernment, and care.

Put your thinking hat on with vocal cords rehearsed. Dr Tjin will be posing questions for reflection, and we’ve set aside spacious time for open, thoughtful discussion on these polarising viewpoints.

No lengthy Precept updates.

No extra segments.

Just a laser‑focused session to engage with the ‘isms.

Whet your appetite — lunch is on us.

We understand that burning brain juice counts as a calorie‑burner.

But above all, the greatest blessing is simply gathering again with our faithful Precept leaders.

We’re inviting you this early so you can “chope” this special date and come ready for a rich time of fellowship and honing one another as we twizzle around these complex systems.
